Mid-Century Modern House near Downtown Bentonville

This week is Spring Break. With the house getting underway we’re having a staycation both to save money and keep an eye on progress. This morning we packed up the kiddos and hit the Pressroom in Bentonville to load up on caffeine (I highly recommend the Nutella mocha) before going to Crystal Bridges.

We took a short detour because this house caught my eye. I’ve been up and down Central countless times and somehow never noticed this Mid-century Modern gem. It turns out this is where the Director of the Crystal Bridges museum lives. Designed in 1954 by Cecil Stanfield, it’s a classic example of MCM architecture.
