Contemporist recently featured The Bridge House by Joeb Moore + Partners Architects. It’s a very beautiful home, especially when blanketed in the Connecticut snow. It also has some interesting and intricate spaces. This photo in particular stood out to me.
This space is a trifecta of awesomeness. It combines a home theater with modern design and in case you didn’t notice one of the greatest movies of all time is shown on the screen – Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest.
We had to cut the home theater in our plans to save cost. We’ll add it some day, but I’ve been thinking about how we can use our generous outdoor space as a theater in the meantime. This house has certainly upped the ante.
